AWR Camber Caster Plates

Anyone have experience with these? Would these work with kyb agx shocks? Also, are these direct bolt in, or would I have to do some modifications to the strut tower to make them fit?

just wondering what size springs are you going to be using because I want the kyb agx with the rb inch springs, and not sure if camber plates are a must.

Call or email Tony at AWR, he's always been helpful when I asked him about his parts in the past.

Yeah, I ended up doing that. I thought it was gonna be hard contacting them via email, but I received prompt and very informative responses. Thanks.

And what did he say? Some people following HOZZMANRX7's advice will want to know as well.

Why would you need camber plates while using aftermarket struts and springs? Theres really no need for it.

Strut spring combos like that have WAY to big of a spring to use a camber plate...and yeah..not much point to using camber plates with your setup.

So, with a strut/lowering springs combo of one inch, camber plates will not be needed?

can't be used. if the strut tower is only like 6" across and the spring is 5" you don't have much room for adjustment.

but put a 2.5" diameter spring in there and THEN you can really use the camber plate

Can you explain this a little more? I have Illumina/Eibach Prokit's and got -2.0 static camber using HKS camber plates. No shock tower modification necessary. I agree the spring size will limit the adjustment, but I seem to have gotten enough camber. I'm just wondering if there is some downside to this setup that I am overlooking. Thanks.

I imagine with a small drop you could readjust the camber with something like this

if you went racing, you'd want more camber still, but for a street car/track days, i dont see why you'd need more than what you have

If you lower the car substantially you'll definitely need to adjust the rear camber, because it has huge camber gain with bump travel.
