Avc-r tuning

k so when i was first building the motor up i got a manual boost controller, but i think i prob got a crap one, wont shut the boost down, over boosts to 15psi

so i nutted up and bought the apexi avc-r boost controller, it's still on the way but i wanted to know if there weere some basic guidelines to follow when tunning it..
the motor currently has:

fmic&2.5" intercooler piping
rb down pipe
rb test pipe
rb Ypipe and mufflers
all the emissions crap is gone
modded tb
stock turbo(s4)/bored wastgate
Apexi neo air fuel controller
rb fcd
here's myspace web site for the pics so you can see what all is in it

if anyone has any advise, or tunning guidelines i can follow it would be great
thanks for everyones help through this whole proccess
