aux ports stuck on my n/a s5

Well i have been doing some searching about this. Someone said if i cant move them with my hand then i have to take off my lower intake manifold to get to them so i can clean them? Just wondering if there is a better way to do this? I already tried spraying some wd40 on them but no luck.

Any ideas?

First, take off the actuators. See if you can move the rod that the the actuator was connected too (the thing on the LIM). If you can rotate that but the actuators are stuck, then replace the actuators. If you cant rotated it, then the only way to fix it is to take off the LIM because the sleeve inside the engine is stuck. You will have to pull it out and clean it off.

You might be able to get enough WD-40 in there to free them up if you just pull off the UIM. Once off, you can spray some on the end that's inside the runners.

But if you've gotten that far, you might as well take off the LIM too. Just be careful with the oil metering lines, they almost always break when breaking loose the oil injectors.

Try WD40 and PB blaster first! Make sure that your hands are at a comfortable enough position to move the actuators, I had to take the intake pipe off to be able to move the front one. Spray some WD40/PB, let it sit for a while. Try to move them by hand again, if it moves just a little bit keep spraying the lubricant and working them by hand and they should eventually free up.

yeah i tried wd40 and penetrating lube. I took the first one off (by the airpump) I took off that circle device with the rod in it. Its stuck like glue. I tried moving the other part that is attached to the engine and that didn't move. I guess i have to take off the lower intake manifold and figure it out from there....
