AUX Port Question.

I am in the middle of my emissions delete, and while I had the LIM off I decided to install the pineapple racing sleeve inserts. Well this may seem like a dumb question but should I just put the sleeves back in or should I put a thin coat of oil on the outsides?

I would make that area as dry as possible. I'd think that there is still particles of dirt and such that get through the filter into the intake which could gunk it up

I think as long as the area is pretty clean to begin with, a light coating or oil will help ensure that they don't bind up. They seat in there pretty tightly, so not much will be able to get between them and the opening.

After thinking about it, I decided that I might as well make easy and put oil on it since I deleted my OMP and will be running premix. Oil is gunna be all over that port since the injectors are right above it anyways.

ONE HUGE PROBLEM! I forgot what the orientation of the sleeve were supposed to be. Are the openings at some point supposed to face up, or down? I forgot to keep track.

In the training manual, there's a diagram that shows the sleeves w/ the opening facing down initially. Since the S4 actuators pull (S5s push), the sleeve would then rotate up to allow air to flow into the engine.
