autotrader fc prices wtf...

Red face autotrader fc prices wtf...

Have you guys recently check fc prices on autotrader? The are insane some people actually thing they will get 9-10 thousand for a NA Convertible, some are even auto too.

My neighbor sold his 87 vert for 24 grand. But he was also the only owner, and it had 11k miles on the original engine, had been baby'd and garage kept it's whole life, and consistently well maintained. he'd also start it up warm it up and blast it around occasionally to keep it in shape.. it was a beauty.

well if it had 11k on an orginal engine, I could see why. But these ones are no where near that low.

people are insane... you can get FD's for like 7-8 grand usually in somewhat decent shape... and like 11-12 grand in good shape(stock ofcourse) why would FC's go so high?

I have been looking for a Vert for a while now and yeah......5K has been the avg for me..........ANYONE HAVE A VERT TO SELL ME CHEAP???????????lol. I'm off to the for sale section.

You don't want your car to appreciate in value? If that is what the market is - if these prople can actually sell their cars for that amount - I think that's great.

yeah theyre absolutely impossible to find... S5/5sp/turbo = there are like three within 200 miles of me....Ill probably just have to cross my fingers and hope theres something cool available in the classified section on this forum RIGHT when I sell my eclipse!!!
