are autometers really bad?

You'll notice I said MY VDO gauge sucks. I even capalized MY. I was agreeing that some of everything sucks, but I think VDO is in the same boat as Autometer for accuracy, and providing good products all the time.
IMO, the overall quality of my gauge sucks, it is way too big (lengthwise), and I hate the pink lighting. I'm gonna upgrade to a GReddy.

Oops, sorry missed that, I was replying to your last sentence

Keep in mind VDO is used as OEM equipment by several European car makers, a claim Autometer can't make. My VDO guage looks very well made, was the same depth as my old Autometer and has nice white lighting. But I guess it's all just personal preference at the end of the day. I'd go GReddy too, but they're way too expensive down here.
