autometer in gauge cluster

i was wonderng if anyone has doe it before or has pictures of it.............i was thinking of replacing my stock gauges with autometers but keeping the gauges cluster intact.

so the tach, speedo, oil pres, water temp, fuel and voltage.

anyone?

I didn't use much of the existing gauge cluster to do mine, but I did use all Autometer. Here's a pic of the first version. I am going to remake the plate out of plexiglas I think, as the sheetmetal warped a little when we cut the holes.

I don't know if it's me or anyone else, but I think that the stock layout for the gagues is great. I actually was thinking about going with the small diameter (1 5/8" IIRC) autometer gagues that fit in the stock hole openings for the voltage, oil press., water temp, and fuel level, plus the uber-tach the pic on this thread has (except with the shift light as an idiot light for the oil press.). I think I may stick with the stock speedo, but to keep things going I'll probably go with the speedo in the pic above.

I agree with you falcoms, I think the stock gauges are sweeeet. But the whole 3D effect, especially if you put the plastic cover back over them, looks awesome. For the cost and effort, the stock gauges are fine for me.
