Autocross dream car?
the aluminum flywheel is very durable...ideal for autocross and moreso for road racing the NA. huge improvement in acceleration in 1st-2nd gear, FAST throttle response makes downshifting and matching revs a breeze...car decels faster as well once you let off the gas. If you're doing a clutch save a bit of $ and wait till u can do an aluminum flywheel as well. the RB unit is made well and u can replace the friction material if it ever wears out (if it does u must be doing SERIOUSLY hard endurance racing, otherwise u should never have to replace it).
84-85 12A
non-sunroof
'76 int housings, port matched
Side draft carb
RB dual outlet header to 3" outlet collector into a lava rock muffler
GC coil over kit 350/150lb
RB front sway bar
stock or removed rear bar
e-fan
GSL LSD, shimmed
13x9's with 245/45-13 Hoosier AS3... tires.
QuarterMaster 7-1/2" clutch
This combo has the potential to be a CSP winner. but the '76 housings are illegal.
Sounds like my project!

a locost would ROCK.
especially with a 13b-T....
I'd say thats probably my dream AX car. you can make them SOOO light and so powerful... and, because of the open wheel design, only limit on tire size is your wheels
think 335s all around
