make sure to take your a-pillar off before you go as the dealer will probably break it

If the dealer breaks it have them get you a new one for free.

Usually parts to my dealer takes 2 or 3 days on a stock order, being your stuff is broke you might be able to talk them into overnighting as long as the part is around. I'm not the parts guy sorry. Call your dealership with your vin, with the recall #, see what they will do. Be nice, don't be an ***, bad customers are the worst people to deal with.

My car already had the recall and has a sticker. What happens when the autobelts stop working again? Does that $1k come out of your pocket?!

So I'm assuming that even though the recall was already performed, if the autobelts stop working agian, they'll fix it for free...right?

Yes. They should because the recall lasts for the life of the vehicle.

yah i went about a month ago.. over the phone the guy checked my vin and was like "the recall has already been done"... so i printed that paper and went down to the dealership, guy read the paper, ran back to his manager and they read it off.. guess they made a phonecall to HQ or something, then photocopied the paper and proceeded with the repairs. They dont expect a car soo old to come in lol
