Signature size...

The rulebook
Signatures:

Custom signatures are enabled, but any graphics used in such signatures are limited to a 20K file size.

Signatures should be less than 460x200 in size.
I've noticed that several folks who post in here exceed the size limit with graphics in your signatures. Enough people that I thought I'd post this instead of PMing everybody.

I'm not trying to be a dick or anything, but if you could please reduce the size to the allowable limit I would much appreciate it.

Thanks!

I really never would have guessed that that picture was so large in size considering it's dimensions. It's a cool picture too, I hate to see it go.

Here you go. I got it down to 17.8k in Photoshop. Just right click & save as and replace the other one with it. It was too funny to let it go away

What did you do to it? Resize it? It doesn't look much different.

I just bumped up the JPEG compression a little bit. I build web pages for a living so I do it all the time. The trick is to keep piling on the compression until the image starts to get fuzzy, then backing off a couple notches. No biggie

It's just a hair over, a whopping 8k. I'm not a **** so you can leave it as it is.

Another moderator may have a problem with it, but I don't.
