ATF treatments, anyone test before & after?
I have been reading for some time about the ATF treatment to increase compression. But has anyone ever tested compression before & after? If not this would be a very interesting experiment! How many have tried the ATF anyway? Anyone have bad results? Does it mess up the 02 sensor? I just got a new one and wouldn't want to mess it up. My car runs great now, so don't want to mess up a great running T2. But it has just hit 118k so maybe it might help?
Thanks guys!
Thanks guys!

I tested the treatment on my 87. It was in poor shape when I got it. The compression was at 65-70psi for both rotors. After driving it for a couple of days I tested it again and the rear rotor went up to about 85 by itself. The front didnt go up at all. That was before I did the treatment. After the treatment the front rotor went up to about 90 too and the rear went up by five too. The lady at Mazcare she said the engine would blow very soon. I doubt it.

is there a time restriction on how long you should keep the atf in the engine . i was thinkin about doin it over a 1 week period ..turning it over every day . is that too long and uneccessary ? and how much atf should be squirted into each housing ?
