1. My engine runs but it takes like almost 6 seconds of cranking to ignite
2. sometimes (not always) it bounces a bit at idle
3. the oil presure is a bit on the low side
4. if i take my foot of the peddle and let it go to idle it sounds like it is about to die but somehow manages on its own to idle out

I've been wanting to do the ATF trick for a while but some ppl say that it is not a good idea
Should i perform the ATF trick? should i put MMO in the oil (and if so how much do i put?)

Sounds like it needs a tuneup- all fluids/filters/plugs/o2.....

Check or set timing/TPS/idle.....not specifically in that order.
Check all vacuum/pressure lines & intake gaskets for leaks and correct.
Check all electrical connections for corrosion and clean/replace as needed.
Test the BAC(bypass air control).

Add 1 quart of MMO to gas tank during next fillup. Drive aggresively. After that run 8-12 ounces for each tank of gas.
Either always use 1/2 quart of MMO with each oil change or use 1 quart about 300 miles before an oil change. It is an excellent detergent. I don't care to use it as engine oil substitute because it is thin.

 

One quart in the gas tank? man, that's an awful lot don't you think?

 

NOPE! full tank of gas=18 gallons to 1 quart MMO = 72:1 premix.
Not too rich at all and is actually relatively lean on MMO. I have run as much as 2 quarts of MMO to full tank of gas with a little engine smoking. After this, all you need is a little(6-12oz) per tank to prevent needing the whole ATF workover.
MMO will decarbon the engine and degum the fuel injectors. You won't need to change the plugs compared to the ATF treatment. And, I would rather drive my car than let it sit for 48 hours soaking.

I've done the ATF treatment. Got my hands dirty. And found alternatives that work the same.

Also, some people like using steam. Purchase some vacuum line. T-into an intake vacuum source. Use pet store bought aquarium air valve to control amount of water. Run engine with other end of vacuum line in container of water. Engine needs to be hot. Vacuum source needs to feed both rotors evenly. Don't let car stall. 2nd person is needed to blip throttle between 1 and 5k rpm while you monitor water flow.

Regardless of what you do, give us the result.

 

do the water treatment if you can. but the ATF method worked wonders for me. i guess it all depends on what level of cleansing is need inside.

i'm gonna continue to run it for the next few weeks or so and see if i get any improvement

NEVER put ATF into your engine unless it is severly flooded or carbon locked. The "ATF trick" is bunk.
