I had a similar problem with electrical gremlins (my left turn signal) that turned out to be a bad alternator. If you have a spare lying around, try throwing it on and seeing if that helps?

Watch your idiot lights for the next little while, if you see multiple lights flashing in miscellaneous patterns that is a definate indication of a bad alternator.

-Good Luck!

do the hazard lights work>?

Turn signals are tied together with the Hazards.

if the hazards don't work as well, chances are that either the bulbs are bad, fuse is blown, or the CPU flasher board is bad.

I have rebuilt replacement CPU flasher boards on my webstore if you need one.

Borrow a different signal switch and swap it on for testing.

Randomness: My best friend's name is Christina. She doesn't own an RX-7, though.

I don't get it. I agree though, another switch would be good to use as a test.

Local wrecking yards should have a bunch. Usually very cheap as well, especially if you pull it yourself. Or find another local owner.

does she go by stina for short?
Nope...At least, not by anyone else but her young nephew. My nickname for her is not forum safe.
