ARGHh.

SOMeOne On here has to know what happened....

My car was up on jackstands for around 4 months. I just got her back on the road.. driving great... I was driving in nuetral around 30 mph and my car stalled... i went to start it back up and it clicked as if the battery was dead but it turned back on real fast... AGAIN i was coming to a stop the car stalled... but this time won't start back up... tried jumping it nothing happened?

What's going on? Feedback i've gotten so far.. .
1. Battery is dead-dieing
2. Alternator
3. Exhaust leak???
4. Starter

i'm really not sure.
I tested the battery.. it was alright i'm confused. Any suggestions?

sounds liek the battery terminals may be a little loose. Try tightening them. Also, when the lights went out and came back on... was it pretty dim? or just like normal?

How did you "test" the battery? When it stalls, is the engine under any kind of load (braking, turning the steering wheel w/ power steering, etc.)?

The alternator takes over for the battery once the car is started. Check the alternator by starting the car then removing the negative cable from the battery. If the car dies then you need a new alternator. I have a spare alternator if in fact you do need one. PM me if that happens to be the case.

Ok I dunno how the hell I was logged in as RX7Girl or whatever but that last reply was by me. So don't PM RX7Girl cause I'm not even sure if she exists. But if you do need an alternator then PM me.
