apexi neo sensor not detecting voltage

apexi neo sensor not detecting voltage
Well I install the apexi neo but the sensors is not detecting voltage
even the battery voltage is incorrect
The only thing that works is the rpm, I have tested the wires with a muitmeter I m getting voltage from them but on the neo it either says 0 or sometime it go to max voltage like 5v throttle and 16v for battery
I saw some post it says you need to have the wires 1cm apart but I didnt do that I just wire the IG wires together so could that be the problem
