Apexi N1 Single = Good, right?

Yeah, Yeah, I know, I should search, but as I'm sure you all know, there's no way to search for "N1" and if you search for "Apexi" you get about a hundred million threads.

So.

Apexi N1 Single is hella good, right? I'm looking at that to replace my rx7.com crap exhaust I put on the car when it was still N/A (and alive). I figure a TO4 won't like 2" duals, heh.

Opinions, alternatives?

Oh yeah, and does anybody know which is louder, Corksport Catback or N1 Single?

I have the n1, and to me it's pretty much the same thing as the corksport as far as sound goes. It's a nice exhuast and has some pretty welds. If you're going with a to4 though, I have to question if it's big enough. It tapers upwards to 3'' after it meets the cat at 2.5'' or so. You could probably cut the smaller section and weld on a bigger 3'' pipe.

I originally was going to go with the RB turboback, but it was on backorder for 6 months and I grew impatient and went with the 3'' thunderfab dp/mp with the n1 single. I got the catback used so the total cost of the turbo back was under 500 bucks for a pretty solid set up.

I had wondered about the size, but people have run the RB (for instance) on a car with a similar setup to mine, and it's even more restrictive. And yes, I could weld a bigger pipe.

Is the N1 driver or passenger side?

n1 is passenger side
CS is drivers side

I think single exhuasts look more balanced on the passenger side so I went with the n1.

good. i told the guy i would buy it after the second post, and now i'm glad to hear. I think singles look better on the passenger's side, too. Now to run to a junkyard and buy a bumper to make a bumper filler thing.
