Apexi N1 with Silencer (Exhaust note request)

Im curious to how much a silencer reduces the sound clips/videos/detailed descriptions are all fine. I'd like to hear it on the single, but the duals are fine too.

It makes a VERY noticeable difference. The main difference is in the low end. Normally it has a huge, loud, rumble. With the silencer that is almost gone. It kinda has a sport bike sound, from memory. I have a clip, but its somewhere on my video camera. One of these days I'll copy it off and post it up here.

Alright, I listened to the note on an n/a that was here (http://howto.globalvicinity.com/gv_w...=66&co=1&vi=1). It was really loud almost to loud. But I noticed that the engine was ported. Would the sound be different on a non-ported engine?

just go cover your ears with cheese cloth, it's the same as using a silencer.

If you don't think N1's are loud then you have one of the following

1. bad hearing
2.stock cat(s)
3. really good sound system

Actually, I believe it is louder on an NA. A friend had it on a stock port NA and is was obnoxious as hell. I have it on my TII with a RB silencer and it is quiet as hell. With no tail pipe silencer.

TII's are generally quieter because the turbine wheels interrupt a lot of the sound.
