Apex GT Spec exhaust

On Apex's GT spec exhaust for 86-92 RX-7's. Is it possible to remove the silencer and if so would driving with the silencer for awhile cause it to be stuck in the piping.

Any thing u can tell me is welcome,
Alex

the silencer is bolted into the muffler with one bolt. its easy to put in and take out. it shouldn't ever get stuck.

Like Derek said, the silencer is held on with 1 bolt and nut, you can easily remove it. It will not get stuck if you drive with it in or out for a long time. This is a fact, a friend of mine has one and regularly switches them out.

that happens quite a lot. I was tempted to weld a little stick coming off of mine to grab onto with pliers when I need to.

It's a medium pitch, fairly loud, but it sounds awesome.
