Anyone who REALLY knows the chassis electrics... please look.
My barrage of electrical gremlins doesn't cease, while my car runs decent, Little details are taking all of my efforts!!
Anyways- whenever the engine approaches redline ALL the warning lights on the panel begin to glow..... They start to glow a little sooner when my headlights are on... It gets brighter with RPM, starts at 6800 or so, to fairly bright at 8000.
My question- What (and WHERE?!) is the idiot light cluster grounded to??
Is there a common ground for all the lights in the panel? I am guessing that needs some attention. (I hope thats all!)
Thanks to everyone who keeps answering my persiting posts.... I have learned a lot from this forum, and I try to help others out as much as I can with elements I am familiar with in return!

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
Sounds to me like you need to tighten or replace the alternator belt. How did I come up with that you ask? "step into my office", he said...
WHen all the idiot lights come on it means the alternator isnt putting out any charge. They are all on when the car is not runnning(switch on) because the battery is only 12-12.5vdc. When the engine runs and the alternator puts out 14+vdc then the lights go off. IF at any time it slips or stops charging below a certain point then all the lights come on. Consider a dayco top cog, its worth the $10.
This is not guaranteed to be your problem, but its where Id look first.

I wouldn't have even thought of it!!
That also presicely explains why the idiot lights begin to glow sooner when the headlights are on (more current draw).
I'll check the belt tension, and I will also run an 8ga wire from the alt to the battery's pos.
I should check the amperage output as well....
I am guessing the alternator isn't putting out less current at high rpms, but the engine is drawing more from more frequent ignition spark....
Thank a lot!

My car used to do the same thing. the belt was fine. I added grounds from engine to firewall, battery to frame. and it didn't help. I added a line from the alt "+" to the battery "+" and it's gone now.
