For anyone who knows about S5verts

I think I blew out my fuse that lowers and lifts my convertibl tope but I don't have a tester, so I was wondering if anyone knew where I can find it so I don't have to go down there check them one by one, cause that'll take a while.
So if you any tips for me at all please let me know, so tomorrow morning won't be so long for me. Luckily my top was already raised when it went out!

the next question would be WHY did the fuse blow?

takes all of a minute or so to check the fuses by the way- so stop being a lazy ***

Thanks for the tip jack. As for rob calling me lazy, why? Cause I asked for help? Right I bet if hit up a ring for a sprring you'd look like the lazy one compared to me, just keep your comments to yourself next time cause you don't know who's really behind their screen name.

the time it took you to log on type you could have checked your fuses.
Next thing will be to see why the fuse blew, your linkage might need lube or you might have a problem with the top.

Whats a "ring for a sprring??"

No need to get all tough guy, it was a light hearted comment so relax yourself.

while it would probably be good to do a search for your prob first, people on here get really annoyed for some reason when you ask for help.....I guess cause they have nothing better to do then sit on here all day and they get tired of seeing stuff posted more than once.....they need that new fresh post you know? lol

but yeah, if you have your owners manual still or a haynes manual or something, it should show you were the fuse boxes are and then it is as simple as figuring out which one is for the top and then checking to see if it is blown, then have fun figuring out why haha

it could be as simple as someone replacing that fuse at one time with a lower rating fuse, but if that 30 amp fuse is blown there will be other issues involved

No.

People get annoyed because this is not the answer desk. Anyone with 40+ posts has ignored the FAQ and the sticky at least...40+ times. This is a community in which everyone takes and most people give. Some give a lot, I give a little, but I give all I am able. Some give a lot.

The sticky's, FAQ, FSM's are all posted (by the givers) because this is supposed to be a help yourself, but ask when you need to kind of place. When (here comes that word!) noobs treat the community as an answer desk, they deserve what they get.

I tend to **** with them a little and point them to a place where they can get the info for themselves.

On a personal note, I get very very testy when BAD info is passed along by unknowing idiots. I challenge these folks aggressively, because I know that the more often bad info is repeated, the more difficult it is for honest searchers to root out the truth from among the bullshit.

To the OP: Good Luck!
