Anyone want to swap out a tranny

This is a never ending saga of problems

First I have a cold starting problem. So I replace the primary aftermarket fuel injectors.

Then I have a soleniod starting problem (chupacabra)

Car starts fine cold and all the time currently as of today.

Now, My transmission is sticky and hard to shift into secoond gear AND the slave cylinder just blew out.
My tranny was gradually getting harder and harder to
switch into second gear. But on top of that I have to pump the clutch cylinder to even switch any gears.

So now I'm thinking about swapping out the trannys tomorrow.

Anyone else swapping theirs out soon. We could race.

I have to take one tranny out of an 87 GXl and put it back in my N/A.

So essentially I'll have to get both trannys out and reinstall one tranny.

Is it realistic to think that I can do this in one day?

Can you guys do it in one day?

Thanks spunks, $150fc

That makes me motivated. And after almost a week of problems, I need that spunk talk. Because this has just been a ******* parade of trouble.

**** it.

I'm going to organize my wrenches get the air tools ready clear out lots of space in the garage.

Fire in the hole!

take a few hours tops...just drop the driveshaft and 4 bolts on the bell housing and 4 on the crossmemebere
then bolt the new one up
id recomend a brace on the top of the engine or a jack underneath cuz the engine will move once the tranny is out anbd make it hard to line the new one up
