Was your 255lph pump smaller than your stock one? I just got mine, and its a fair bit smaller than my stocker. Kind of wondering if I even have the stock one?

If I remember right it was smaller which is why I had to modify my assembly holding on to it. I am sure you have the stocker. I couldn't use the pressure cap thing so I rigged up some fuel line and clamped it on there, much more secure. Sorry I don't have a pic but I have a write up, http://www.rx7turbo.com/fuelpump.htm

yes they are smaller but flow more.

i put one in my 240sx and rx7 have haven't had any trouble.

Both of the pumps were drop in replacements for me. Took about 30min max on both.
