Question Anyone using a spec stage 2 clutch in their car ?

I am looking into getting a spec stage 2 clutch put in my s4 na , was wondering if anyone is using one in there car and their opinion on it ? My main concern is how long its going to last before i'll need another one.

I used one in a turbo Miata than ran 8.11 in the 1/8th. Held great. Highly recommended. It'll hold any amount of power you'll throw at it with an NA rotary (short of a p-port Cosmo )

spec stageII lasted me over a year of constant reaming and slipping it from the clutch from 7000rpms at the track

carl, the spec stageII is a kevlar disc.

FCmania, are you sure you have a spec stage II? any sprung hub disc style clutch shouldnt be chattering.

yea sprung kevlar disc. its just chatter a little off the line on 1st gear and if the rpm go above 1500 then then sound will be gone.

clocking 25miles with the clutch only at the moment =)......my mechanic told me its normal and after awhile it will be ok. hope thats real.. =)

You are probably being too tentative engaging the clutchor youer RPMs are too low, bring the rpms up a little more, and slip it, you should be fine.

i would think all spec clutches are blue just that different stages has different disc on it.

while breaking in the clutch do u guys rev match when u shift down? cause i notice if i dont rev match mine , it has the shudder feeling and chatter sound.
