anyone using a single cat back set up from CorkSPort?

I have decided to go with the single set up for weight & cost reasons.

I have only seen the CS unit but I know it was almost half the RB dual unit.

Any thoughts on the single versus dual?

I hae it on my 89 TII, it is pretty damn loud but does have a nice tone to it. Personally if you can afford it I would say go with the RB.

cant really afford it but might have to . The car has a gutted cat right now and I dont know what for mufflers and it sounds ricey and cheap and loud. I have heard the RB systems and they are much better sounding.

I do not want a LOUD single system. Had that before on my 79 & 85. hated it.

I have it on my NA, cats gutted and such. It is loud, but they sell a silencer for it. With the money you save over the RB, I would go with CorkSport. Looks good too. But I haven't got a ticket yet, and I've had it for a few months.

Any single system is going to be loud on a 2nd gen almost guaranteed... unless you use a silencer but those suck

I have the CorkSport catback and I love it, and guess what!

I have an MP3!

This is with the corksport DP, highflow cat, and corksport catback, on a pretty much stock motor.

The corksport turboback is pretty loud and the tone is less than pleasing on a TII. However, it's well made and a helluva bargain. If you're concerned with sound but you like the corksport exhaust make SURE you keep a cat in the system as this will keep the volume down drastically and take a lot of the raspiness away. A bunch of people make OEM replacement high flow cats for the car...

I have it on my car now with a 3"ThunderFab dp/mp and its very loud. It souds great and deep but its loud. I also have the silencer for it and it doesn't sound too bad with it in but it is still loud. I did the turbo swap in my car and before with the n/a motor and gutted cats it was loud too. I got one ticket but it was b/c i down shifted and let my motor slow me down and the occifer didnt like it much. With the silencer in and when the car was n/a it wasnt loud at all.

depends on where you live and how the cops are, I would suppose. here in KY, the law says any exhaust system that noticably makes it sound louder is illegal, but i have yet to have any problems b/c most cops are pretty cool. just make sure you keep cats or buy a presilencer.

Dude, I would'nt put it on a NA but it sounds sweet as hell on my TII. It's throaty and allows the system to flow. But don't think you can use the silencer because it sounds like total ****. It sounds like a BIG *** exhaust leak.

On my NA engine with Bonez downpipe and cat it was sweet. Very deep sounding.

Last Seven stock a lot of people complimented me on the sound.

It IS loud on a NA though.

I could hear my car idling while inside my house on the opposite end. My house has a Stucco exterioir too!

I never got a ticket for it though. I even went through emissions with it. They asked if I had a cat since it was loud but didn't giv a ****.

My emissions place has the dyno and everything too.

If your buying a CS single then don't bother with the silencer aka exhaust restriction. You pretty much dumb the exhaust down to stock levels when you do it and to me it's kond of ricey to get a nice exhaust and then do that to it.

no. its not loud at all, it has a nice resonant frequency too, and.. if you get off the gas and give it just enuff where you are coasting ... presto near silence, very nice for passing "the man"

i am using stock pre/cat with no silencer insert.. i oredered my rb dp/presilencer and when i get it ill let you know how loud it is.

dont believe everyone who says its so loud
