Anyone use an Atkins Rotary Supercharger?

Looks very promising. Don't have to mess with the exhaust or install and
plumb an intercooler. Sure supercharger is parasitic but looks like an
effective way to add hp and torque without detrimental effects on MPG. I
think my REPU wants one!

What are the CONS of running a supercharger? Does anyone know if the Holley
Avenger comes pre-jetted for your application?

http://atkinsrotary.com/supercha.htm
Additional equipment needed: Carb, air filter, fuel pump

Email a request for the additional equipment pricing

7 inch Supercharger is now available for 13B engines 2395.00

Air Filter and Housing for the Holley carb set up

With a paper element $42.00

With a K&N element $150.00

All prices are for US Dollars and are subject to change without prior
notice. Prices do not include shipping and handling.

All numbers are subject to change depending on manifold, exhaust, ignition,
porting, etc. We used a 390cfm holley for carburetion.

Don't forget the need of an Dist, and the complete inability to pass any emissions test

I want one. I've been saving some money, and hopefully I'll get one this august. Icemark, if dist. stands for distributor, they said you don't need one, you can keep the stock set up.

Ladies and gentlemen, in CAlifornia you don't need to smog any vechile 30 years or older. Thus I'm considering supercharging my 74 REPU which is smog exempt.

No prob with dizzy, I use and electronic one from 1st gen.

Anyone use a supercharger on their Rx7? Looking for good first hand input.

In my time here I've only seen one or two people take this path. This is probably because it's cheaper just to go and buy the EFI Turbo engine that was designed for these cars.

Supercharger

"
I have the Atkins 5" bought it before the 7" and the 9" where even made. Best MOD I have done to my car and I do not need any computers or intercoolers. Yes you can make more power with a turbo but I personally like the bottom end torque I never had before. Any questions please ask oh by the way 72 RX2 13B.

You can do that with a turbo too, but they'll make either choice much better.
