Anyone successfully made their own OMP lines?

I discovered today that the OMP lines on the primary ports have broken. It's well over $100 for all four lines from Mazdatrix. I think that's a little too high for the same crap Mazda used. If they were an upgrade then I would be more apt to pay for them.

As it stands I need new lines. I was wondering if anyone has made their own without much trouble. What lines did you use? Where did you get them?
I was thinking that I could find suitable lines from a small engine shop.
I think using vacuum lines would be a bad idea cause I don't know what oil would do to them.

Any thoughts other than remove the OMP?

I've used that method - worked great, lines still look pretty good on the car 4 years later.

+1 on the teflon lines. it's one afternoon's worth of work and the supplies are cheap.

Doing this as part of my rebuild. The thread is easy to find, read it and you'll see many people have done this mod.

While you're at it if your OMP leaks this would be a good time to rebuild it as it takes like 10 minutes.

Thanks for the advice. I don't think it does, but I'll look it over very closely.
