Anyone seen serpentine /5G pulley sets?
The alternator I have is 150amp bad boy, but it has a 5G pulley. I thought instead of trying to machine a dual pulley to the right shaft diameter, I might be able to find a 5G main and 5G waterpump pulley set. I've actually been wanting to get an underdrive system anyhow, but haven't seen any that are 5G /5 groove pulleys.
Anyone?
Anyone?

My thoughts:
That kit is WAY too expensive! At $250, I can think of better things to do, like get a PS2 with games!
It doesnt had an idler arm (Keeps the belt tensioned correctly) and it doesnt have PS (most likely because the P/S system is a little farther forward, and they didnt want to 'stagger' the pullies to make it work, or something like that)
It would please me greatly to find an aftermarket system that used an existing, readily avalable belt. This is so that when the one you buy with the kit dies, you can buy a new one at almost any autoparts store.
I do think this kind of kit could be worthwhile. :O Do the FDs use Serpentine belts? If so, is it possable to grab such a system for use on our cars?

I dont mind going E-Fan if I have to, and I dont have an airpump, or A/C, to worry about running the belt around.
If no one responds to this thread in a while, I might be looking into swaping over an FD style pully system and then test fitting readily avalable serpentine belts from the parts store.
