Is anyone running HID's on their FC?

I been wanting to buy an HID kit, but not sure which one. What do you guys have? Which ones do you recommend? And should I get the Hi and Low or just the lowbeam? I was looking at the AutoVision kit and it looks pretty good, aswell as the Mc K........something. Any Ideas?

i have some no name brand 8000k kit, it works fine but the cutoff on the H4 housings sucks. not every HID kit will have the same cutoff with every housing, that is something that needs to be done through trial and error otherwise the lights will spray the pattern and blind other drivers inevitebly getting you a fix it ticket for the lights.

I sell HID kits by the way, and unlike the others you mention, they meet DOT standards

I'm not sure if it matters whether they are DOT standards or whatsoever.
Our cars are not supposed to have HIDs
Only certain cars (Mostly New Ones) like Mercedes/BMW/Acura/Nissan etc. etc.
The inspection center here are getting tougher and they know which cars come with HIDs. or you won't pass that ****.

I don't care, I still want HIDs for my car!
How much How much..
Right Now I have the Diamond Cut Bullshit H4. Would I have a problem installing that ****? like fitment.. "housing burnment" etc..

Yes you should. HID low-beams will not make up for a lack of high-beams. You still have to aim them below the horizontal so range will always be less than with a decent pair of high-beams.

goto his website, all the pricing is there.

BTW this thread is about the new type headlights you see on beamers, benz, and others.

High Intensity Discharge lighting. It's a light system that takes less power and puts out more light then a normal headlight, however costs much more. Many high-end cars come with it from the factory now.

HID retrofit FTW!

If you get Icemark's kit it is best if you use E-code (Cibie or Hella brand) headlights. It is technically not legal but the light output is very sharp with those Euro spec headlights

Have you ever driven at night and an oncoming car just blinded the **** out of you? Bright *** white/bluish/sparkly/ headlights? Yeh, they were probably HIDs.

Same when you look on your side mirror or rear view mirror and you see a car about 10 car lenghts and they're healights look like crystal white/bluish... yup HIDs.

Check out the new cars like BMW/ACURA/NISSAN/MERCEDES...

Kinda like this:

^^ Actually the REAL HIDs on the cars that come with it from the factory will not blind you(unless they go over a bump and it momentarily jars the front end upwards bringing the beam up to eye level) because they have the proper cutoff. The Chevy SUV in that picture did not come with those HIDs from the factory. That crazy glare from that SUV is the result of your average Ebay shitass HID kit.

Porsche has a sensor that sees if there is an oncomming car or a car in front of you and dims the HIds for you then if no one is around it blazes them really bright. Just get DOT approved lights that ar aimed right with the right cutoff and you're leagal, I'd go with wha tIcemark sells, he wouldn't let you buy somethnig from him if it wasn't top notch.
