Just checking to see if anyone has converted a 1st gen 13b to a 2nd gen car. And If so, What was your reason for doing so. I did mine because the motor in the 2nd gen was wore out and I already had a 1st gen 13b.

won't bolt up... you would need custom motor mounts, and ECU, and the engine is 15hp or so less than even a 86-88 non turbo 13B anyway... so whats the point?

I made custom motor mounts and the point is money. If I want to go fast check my web page.

The down grade may be so, but it will not be a great tremendous loss. The only thing I used was the engine itself. Everything else is original to the 91. Now I drive this one to work and leave my 85 in the garage for the winter. I still have the 91 engine and the winter time to rebiuld it if I choose. But I don't think there is a noticeable difference in performance. Besides, I have less than $100.00, including title and tags, in this car. And the car is mint. I just wanted to know if anyone had done this before or am I the only one. lol
