Ok. Finally I get some time to put some pictures.

I ended up taking out a decent amount of crap.

GXL adjustable suspension things.
Rear seat belts.
Spare tire.
Jack.
Hatch wiper motor.
Antenna motor.
Hatch cover.
All the mats that were underneath the rear carpet.
Lap belts.
Power shoulder belt motors.
Sunroof rack (rusted like ****)
A bunch of unnecessary things underneath the dash.
A/C condenser.
A/C blower.
All the mats under neath the carpet in the front.
A/C
Power steering.
Air pump.
Emissions.

All this might look like it isnt much weight but it all adds up. Ill be taking the car out to the dump to weigh it.

I wouldn't even really consider it stripping.

To me, it looks like that car has had more of a... cleaning? That sounds like the right word...

Sorry guys, I can't say I would agree. I still wouldn't do that. There are certain things, yes, for moving weight, removing weight and so on. I don't like posting other models but tell me what you think of this. My brothers car is stripped to a certain extent but still looks great. It still has carpet, TWO seats, a dash and so on. Hope you like this one. I know, It's not a RX7.

http://www.m2bmw.com/moe.htm

I just wish if someone wanted to do a drastic change to their car it would be something like this. I see these cars as being classics like my brothers some day. I tell you what, stripping a car like that doesn't make it attractive. I know, your not looking for attractive.

By the way, did that website on weight help at all that I posted earlier?

i know its not attractive to completly gut the car...

When i picked up the shell of my car for $100 bucks a good portion of the interior was gone/ damaged by mold anyway. so i finished striping it. I plan to turn the car into a drag car, and go standalone, full t2 drive train, larger turbo and ect... so that is why i have gutted everything out of the vehicle. currently i have a 6 port turboed motor with a bad coolent seal in it but it still goes fast when not overheating haha...

For my other rx7 i have a full interiored t2 with all the luxury items still there, i even added rear seats!

so i would probably never gut another car like that unless it came w/o interior to begin with

Yeah, I heard that. I would only do it to a race car. Not a street ride.

That BMW is gorgeous!

I have partially stripped interior. It's my winter driver/auto-x car. Daily drive (ride) is my motorcycle.

WOW! u are an r tard. There's alot of other things you could have done to make it lighter without ruining your interior. Aluminum hood, maybe frp fenders and front. Power steering, my se doesn't have it and it still handles like a dream with the stock suspension. AC compressor, air pump, power anything. Even if you make it a second faster by gutting the interior it still looks like a turd to anyone who looks inside. Hell why not tig weld a tube frame and get a mariah motorsport body. That would be a better project than ruining a good car. You disgust me.

weight makes a huge difference, someone said when they had their 200lb friend in the car they didn't notice a difference. I definitely notice a difference, my my friend is in the car , I have to drop down to 3rd to go up a hill I would normally accelerate up in 4th, I have to launch about 1k rpms higher to not bog as well. Maybe its just my car but weight definitely makes a big difference. Although I don't think I would ever gut my car like that (the way Kompressorlogic did), (again).
