Anyone know how to get the AIR VENTS out?

Ok, the flapper's on the air vent's on my doors are all outta place and don't swivel like they should when you turn the little dial thing. I was wandering how to take it out. I tried just pulling on it, but it seemed kinda brittle, and I didn't want to break something over a dumb thing like this. I just wanted to straighten out all the little flapper's. Is just pulling on it the key or what?

Check out rx7world.com for replacements- more than likely they are jammed up and will break if you try to move them (ask me how I know this!)

You could try taking the assembly out of the door panel (you'll have to pull the panels to get at em) and make sure the inner workings are intact first. They push out from behind.

You gonna wonder why everyone complains about them breaking.

Mark take ur door panel off and then on the back side of it there should be 3 Small screws. If you push on them they will break and then your done for or just drive into town and ill do it for you we should go wreckers shopping anyway.
