Anyone heard of JDM Tiger Japanese?
Any time you buy a 13b or bt from some jdm import site, you are throwing the dice. Always buy from someone you know, or somebody reputable.... such as japan2la... he's helped me a couple of times.
i found a nice site with our 13b swap for 1050 shipped, but dont know how reputable they are as well... nagasaki motors, it describes as a full swap... but what do they mean by full swap? trans, ecu, long block, etc...
this was probably from rx7world.com. there not used motors though they are all rebuilt. he sells them on ebay to get a wider audience. i have one of his motors right now. however i didn't buy through ebay. i found him on ebay and ordered it through his website. were i was able to add different things to the build. made it a little more personal. his name is ernst and he builds one good motor and he has great customer service. answered all my questions while i was installing my engine.
Good luck with the next one and for the next customer rebuild the motor. JDM in general is a gamble.
As for Mazdatrix I dunno about their rebuilds but overall they have a good rep.

I got my JDM S5 tii from them. Started up first try. 90 PSI on both rotors. Just good luck I guess. However my car doesnt want to shift into gear. Dont know if its a bad trans or something else. Good luck though
Thanx dude. I hope i'm one of those lucky guys to get a good motor. I'm actually expecting two rotary engines. an S4 and an S5
By the way. Did you put the motor in the motor in the car and then take the compression numbers or right when you got it while it was out of the car? Cause I dont think you can get numbers when the engine is out and what not. I tried when I first got mines it said zero too but when I put it in and started it. It gave me numbers.
hey as for mazdatrix great customer service. they rebuild everything in house i beleave. i would give them a try.

Ok so they cancelled the order and refunded me the full amount of money. They said all there rotary engines we're bad so DONT BUY FROM JDM TIGER!. now i'm looking for a place to buy my motors....
well, at least they finally admitted it. After hearing that I'm really glad I didn't get my motor from there. Haha.
