Any time you buy a 13b or bt from some jdm import site, you are throwing the dice. Always buy from someone you know, or somebody reputable.... such as japan2la... he's helped me a couple of times.

All I have to say to you people is CALL JARCO. They will go to japan, and cut a running car in half themselves and ship it to you.

when you put stuff on credit the credit card company is always on your side until proven wrong. So if it blows or if you get shafted all you do is dispute the charge

i found a nice site with our 13b swap for 1050 shipped, but dont know how reputable they are as well... nagasaki motors, it describes as a full swap... but what do they mean by full swap? trans, ecu, long block, etc...

Good luck with the next one and for the next customer rebuild the motor. JDM in general is a gamble.

As for Mazdatrix I dunno about their rebuilds but overall they have a good rep.

By the way. Did you put the motor in the motor in the car and then take the compression numbers or right when you got it while it was out of the car? Cause I dont think you can get numbers when the engine is out and what not. I tried when I first got mines it said zero too but when I put it in and started it. It gave me numbers.

Yeah man i put the engine in and then tried it. it gave me 0 on both housing. That motor had water in it so as time went by it converted to rust and seized all the seals.
