These damn overpriced Ebay lights keep poping up. Now you asking us what we think gives me the impression that you have interest in them, so if you have the money they are asking for to spare buy them. I personally think for the money the quality could be better, the lights look cheap & the lens looks funny. Contact them try to get just the buckets, buy better lights & you may have something.

My butthole puckered when I saw the price on those. Being as I work in the wholesale commercial electrical industry, I know how much compnents cost for stuff like this. And it makes me laugh that they can get away with flat-out highway robbery. I can't imagine there being enough labor in those to make up the cost difference... yikes...

I dont know if there is a single FC2000 front end owner who has superior lights then even stock set up, that is the bad thing about that front bumper

So that I don't start a new thread I'll hijack this one...

I want some sleek headlights that are "tasteful" ghetto. It's hard to explain...my car looks like a race car...an abused race car. A lot of the bumper has been broken and is now held on with wood screws. The damage was severe enough that I have issues with the pop-ups "popping" up. In the end I'm wanting to get some 50mm HID housings and run a kit I already have, and get a good high beam to compliment it. I'm thinking of using a high beam from an E36 BMW headlight housing. Big thing, though, is that I want functional light...but I want some "tacky" in there just so it matches the rest of the car.

What's the least tasteful while still being effective thing you guys have seen?

I bought a set of those about 6 months ago for $300 on ebay. No idea why they are asking so much now. I have not opened them yet but they are FAR lighter than the stock assembly.

I bought them for use on my race car eventually, meaning i dont care if they dont fit that well, i can make them work, and i wanted something SUPER light that was a non pop up and used the stock location without cutting the bumper.

I'll pop the box open tonight and have a look closer at em. I was actually planning on changing the lights out of them anyway...
