I was thinking about how cluttered my FC(S5 TII) will get with all its guages and stuff once its done and I wanted to see if any of you have tried to make things hidden like guages, switches, electronics, etc. Pics are a must if you all do so I can copy ya'lls design!

SAFC2 kinda like how scott89t2 did his.
I bent a piece of aluminum to make a bracket and it wont budge at all. The ashtray lid also fits over the top of it as well.

I have 3 gauges mounted above my cd player, a/f water temp and oil temp (old picture but gauges are still in the same place):
The sending wires go through the firewall on the passenger side right above where the carpet meets the firewall. All power/ground wires are hooked together into one single 10 gauge wire for ground and one for power. Power is ran to ignition under steering wheel and ground goes to the shifter bracket bolts under the shifter surround. This was the cleanest I could make the wiring, putting them all into a single one, works out well.
I also have my alarm brain/wiring hidden, not telling where though
Then I have my safc where the AAS/side mirror adjustment buttons in the armrest used to be, fits perfectly, and the wiring for it runs under the carpet and comes out through a hole at the arm rest mounting point.

I'd have to say that Aaron Cake's MP3 player is by far the best hidden thing i've seen on this forum to date.
look at his webpage if you don't know what i'm talking about.
Matt
:edit: i am a total moron. i meant the computer that guy threw into his dash center console. but aarons setup is still worth checking out. :end edit:

I had a laptop linked up to my CD/player. I could watch DVD/s and play my MP3's. But I kept spilling soda on it. In a tear in my seat I have close to $80 in change just in case.
