Anyone have experience with RX-7 Specialties in Calgary?

In my search for a new engine.... I came across this company in Canada that has rebuilt engines....... 1668 CDN..... which is just under $1100.00 US.

Alot less expensive than Atkins, etc.

Anyone know of these guys? Are they good rebuilds? If not, where would u recommend going?

I bought my engine from there, and I am very pleased. I have had it since January of 1999. Adam is the guy you want to talk to. I got 93-95 housings on mine. (exhaust ports are not as constrictive and they are much stronger) I have about 40,000 on it and it still runs very strong. I have called him with many questions and he always has an answer for me. I know they build engines for a place in washington, but you will not get them as cheap from there.

They do excellent work.

My car see's no other shop but theirs. If you want more info PM forum member Astro he can give you prices and all the info you will need.

I too got my engine from them. Ran fine untill this week. It's bein about a year and a falf since the rebuild. It sounds like its a freak accident and they are totally willing to take full responsibility for it even though its bein longer than the one year warrenty. Great place to get work done on your RX-&! **** 4 Stars from this rx-7 lover. I have not found a shop anywhere that does such good work for such low prices.
