Anyone have the CS catback silencer?

My car is too loud for city driving. Does anyone have the corksport catback silencer? I know they are finished I just don't have free $ to buy one right now.

How effective are they? someone post some mp3's

I just checked, I didn't see them but I did see the nice 3" dp, maybe when I get all the turbo parts here I'll get that. the cost of the silencer was aroud 23 bux, I need to call and order one when I get 30ish bux.

There's no way id put it in my CS...defeats the purpose

Of course i have a turbo to suck up the extra noise, im sure it's crazy loud on an N/A with headers.

Yup, Ive heard ML's car with the silencer on and off and it makes a huge difference. We even tried it on my car (which is louder) and it would make driving up the hill to my house late at night a little easier.

Ok, so it helps with some low end, that's good cause my driveway sucks ***. That's one reason why I got the CS, I'd scrape my Power Extremes because the road was so steep.

oh, I meant cause the theres much more load on the engine going up the hill in higher gears, trying to keep it quiet so it still ends up loud. But my car is really loud, and at first (after putting in the racepipe) I thought it was too loud also. Now im used to it and can stand another couple db's. Id use the silencer if I really had to keep it quiet i.e. turning car on late at night, coming home late at night. Did you just do a mod to your car that increased the volume?

no, the car is just too loud, I could stand having headers/presilencer and the power extremes but this is like 5x louder than that setup. Fall break is coming up so I might post another video of how loud it is, but...
