Question Anyone happy with their J-Spec Engine Mounts?

Since the conversion, I couldn't help but notice the Engine tilts In favour of the leftside - considerably. I've never heard of this until I've seen It myself. This Is probably attributle to the Steering Column and Turbo occupying the Passengerside of J-Specs. I have both Engine Mounts busted on my car and I'll be refitting the original Engine Mount Brackets and new Mounts In time.

Anyone notice the same with their J-Spec Mounts?

AFAIK, J-spec engines sit in exactly the same place. Otherwise many other engine parts (like intake ducts and intercoolers) would need to be different as well.

I doubt It...the entire assembly went In like It was meant to be there.

Use the Steering Gear Shaft as a reference. You could see how offset It Is.

Yeah, I used the terms offset and tilted, but you know what I mean. So do I win?

Anyone else have this variance? I'm abit surprised that this not been discussed about before.

Maybe so, but when I've compared my previous setup, I know that their was no way It was as offset as this. In fact, the Main Crank was straight on to the Bumper, for example. Perhaps the pic doesn't do as much justice as I like It to Kevin.

No big deal, I guess. I figure If there are no others who've dropped In a J-Spec (with the J-Spec Mounts) and don't experience the same as I did...than I'm talking alot of hot air than.

What we're saying is that any FC regardless of series or aspiration, location, etc. has that angle to it. It is MUCh more evident with a turbo model, as you have a straight intercooler really close to a straight firewall, and its easy to spot that theyre not parallel. With an NA setup it isn't so obvious unless you look for it.
