anyone get their heater(logicon/airmix motor) fixed from a mechanic before?

how much did it cost? i attempted to remove the logicon by myself on my parts car and there's no way im going to be able to get it...and if i do, then i'll screw something up trying to take my logicon out of my main car...there's to much risk for me...

so im wondering how much do you think it'll cost for a mechanic to do it?

bring some *** lube with you to the mechanic with the logicon.

It is really not very hard to remove. Take of the stereo surround piece, and then it is only like 4 screws. Not a lot you can break, maybe just the trim but be careful and it'll be okay. The mechanic is going to be a ridiculous price, just do it yourself.

Or go to the CDN forum and find someone more experienced in your city and ask them for help

There is a user on here named Icemark. Send him a PM, he resolders them, as well as headlight switches and wiperswitches.

Just squeeze the tabs on the connector. I can't remember exactly what I did, but I got it out in like 2 minutes. I actually rewired mine and installed it in the armrest under the lid.

Try once more. You have to follow the harness to its end. Yeah. I know you know that. But keep trying. Once you reach it with just your finger tips, feel around the connector and you'll surprise yourself and you will uncouple it. No it's not real easy, but it's not impossible either, after all....I did it. If I did it anyone can.
