150 and bigger is a lot of strain for an NA drivetrain.
You will be looking at around $3600 to set up a safe, high HP shot. Let's look at what you need:

TII drivetrain: $500 (including flywheel, starter, trans, driveshaft, diff, halfshafts, slave cylinder, etc)
GOOD clutch: $400
Fuel pump: $120-$600
FPR: $120-$400
Direct Port Set-up: $800
Gauges: $250
Three Retard CDI units: $1200
Bottle warmer: $130
Purge Valve: $110

And this is just the minimum.

There are other ways to go about it and save money... but this is the only really safe way I would recommend while keeping stock timing.

Damn those two trailings coils, eh?

i find it helpful to have more posts about the use of nitrous in the cars lacking a turbo because i know theres more NA owners than turbo owners so i hope people stop dreaming about a turbo in there car and look for a differant way to get that hp

depends on a few factors... You could always run a progressive controller.... But when you look at the total cost, the TII drivetrain isn't that significant.

What are your intentions with this? You might get away with your drivetrain if you only use it in 3rd and above gears....

For a big shot system, you need direct port, which can only go as low as 80 hp safely.

80hp is not a small shot to start out with.

If you use nitrous up until your top end, you will go faster. With even just an 100 shot, you should be burrying the needle with ease while on the button.

Umm... you ARE aware that a nitrous system, set-up according to manufacture's tuning, will always make within 2% of the advertised hp? Typically, the cars see the gain to the WHEELS.

A 150 hp jetting puts that down to the tires, typically. That will mean DOUBLING the Crank HP. Is your engine prepped for this?

that's a lot of juice. for the N/A drive train. I've seen people do 60 shot no prob. The N/A are significantly lighter, than the TII's so the power requirement isn't really needed to get it going quickly.

Significantly? 100 lbs is significant? That's 0.1 second in the 1/4 mile.
