i'd say a stock turbo II could beat a type r by a hair ... they only run mid to high 14's .. an n/a wit bolts on can keep up lovely...

The only time i raced one was going onto a freeway onramp. Was hard to tell how fast it was, I was on my bike But hey .. he's the one that egged it on ..

Needless to say he got his *** handed to him, and maybe he will pick on a import his own size next time .

um... I race "type-R"'s all the time.. oh wait you mean REAL Type-R Acura Integra's?

OK. Well I did race a pretty well modded Integra GS-R Vtec and it was a VERY close race. He claimed to be making the same power as the Type-R so I guess I would beat one by about a hood .

From what i've seen, most Civics with wings are Type R's. And a few Neons. So I must have raced hundreds of them by now.

i raced a gsr, with a type r head on it. Spanked him out the hole, but boost sensor issues allowed me only the first gear. at the time when i was trying for second i was like 4 car lengths. But half of those retards don't know how to drive a fwd in a drag race. 95% of type r are bs sticker jobs.

Im going to race one soon. Im sure I will beat one. I just have to go to the illegal drags in order to find one. THier very hard to come by around here. They do 14.8 but most will do low 15s.

Question type r challenge

oneof my closest friend owns a champoinship white TYPE R.. we race all the time.. mostly on the weekends on the strip.. on first gear he pulls about 4 inches from an even stop start, then when fully boosted on second gear youll pull up just enough to pull even.. then on third its pretty much even.. on fourth for some reason. the R seems to be pulling almost barely an inch or so more than me.. the race usually ends around 120-130MPH.. as mush as a type r is race tuned from factory.. all i can say is "even though my fc is ghetto tuned by me.. im glad theres no way idbe spanked by a honda/acura..

Raced my friends ITR. He had 2 friends in the car and I had a cracked manifold so I dont know if it was "fair" but I was ahead till he edged me out at the end of 3rd. Pretty cool car.

grs with aa Type R cam. Spanked me every which way. My aux ports and VDI were screwed up that day, since I placed the wrong vacuum lines on the wrong solenoid valves.

I've been challenging for a rematch, be he claim he beat me once and he'll beet me again. One day I'll vindicate myself!

Beat an RSX Type-S in my n/a FC. Dude just bought it, and admitted that he couldn't drive it. He said he was shifting at like 6k The day I blew my engine, I was parked next to a yellow ITR, and we were firing up to go race, when "Pop."

I raced a type R civic with Power FC, intake hedders, exhaust, blah, blah, blah...when I had a stock FC...dead even until 3rd gear until he would start pulling on me.

...so I got a full exhaust, fuel pump, s-afc and cranked the boost up...after that I WASTED HIM

I ran a yellow Type R down 287 in NJ while cruising with 4 other FCs...that was fun. I walked on him pretty quickly, but that was no surprise.

When my FC was completely stock I raced a yellow type-R from a stop. Let's just say he won Seriosly though those cars are damn quick, I think all that this guy had was a cat-back and by the time I hit 3rd he was uber-carlengths ahead. I raced a modded GSR with my current mods and pulled over 1 carlength to about 100. Also raced a rsx-s with about the same results. But I dunno if I could hang with a type-R though.
