Everything will be temporary, and will slowly be replaced by better products. I know it sounds retarded, but I'm not the type to wait, save money, and do it all at once(and trust me, I hate it. Bad.) I'm just so impatient. I either want a t2 swap or 6port turbo by January.

Do you guys think I can have a daily able setup using a stock turbo, megasquirt(I know a lot of people hate them) , t2 injectors, and cheap everything else?

Also I am only planning on running a VERY MILD tune, and am mainly aiming towards mpg's & reliability. I also don't plan on beating it to death or going WOT around town.

My mother in law has a saying "A lazy man does twice the work".

My mom used to say "Penny wise, pound foolish".

Most here will use the saying "A chain is only as strong as the weakest link".

They all apply here. If you take the approach you're suggesting, indeed your ride will be temporary as you're going to be breaking down constantly.

Repeat after me "Do it right the first time". Repeat as necessary until you've put you wanklemobile together the way you are actually saying you want.

In the meantime, buy a beat up really cheap 4 cylinder something keep gas costs down for your dd'ing in the mean time to help speed your saving $ to get to your otherwise worthy goal.

There are some good names floating around.
It depends on where in the country you are in. I know of a couple reputable rebuilders. Where are you?

Ahhhh! I know you're right, I just need to keep the impatient little baby inside me dormant. I guess I should wait until I get this DAMNED RAISE before I go turbo. And when I do, I suppooose I will rebuild a fresh block :/

I just wish I could skip ahead 6 months, and here that "vroooom, pshoo!" Already

"vroooom, pshoo" wasn't as fun as I thought it would be while I was in college and gas was $4.50+

I tried my hardest to avoid ANY boost!
