Arrow Anyone with an 87 FSM, I have a question

What is the color code for the wires going to each of the injectors? What I have is

F Primary to ECU Light Green, hot Brown
F Secondary to ECU Light Green/white, hot Brown/White

R Primary to ECU Light Green/Black, hot Brown/Red
R Secondary to ECU Light Green/Red, hot Brown/Yellow

I only have an 88 FSM, and the online FSM is also for an 88. The color codes indicated are different than what's on my low imp harness.

I changed out my injector clips and am 99% sure I got it right what goes where (I neglected to mark before taking things apart. I just want to eliminate that 1% doubt.

Thanks

.....It ALMOST does not matter to which of the injector plugs the BROWN.....BROWN/YELLOW..........BROWN/WHITE..........BROWN/RED go to, since they all just feed power to the injectors and don't pulse any at all. It might matter if one was ohming out a injector circuit from the resistor package to the ECU small plug. That's about the only time it would ever matter where those four wires go.

It seems to me : the secondary injectors BATCH fire so it matters not which injector the secondary elect plugs goes to.

It also seems to me the primary injectors also batch fire (seems inefficient to me) so it matters not to which injector the primary fuel injector plugs go.

Also seems to me it matters not if the LIGHT GREEN or the LIGHT GREEN/BLACK get swapped around at the ECU small plug. Both are primary and are batch fired like the secondary injectors. They go on the top row of the small ECU plug. By swapped around, I mean putting the light green/black to the left and the pure light gree to the right of the small plug. Or put another way, if 3C and 3E are swapped with each other, the car runs just the same. Just can't put 'em on the bottom row where the secondary wires are.

I don't know where it is stated that the primarys are batch fired. I know the secondarys are batch fired, just didn't know the primarys are also. Accidently found this out in the last year or so.

So in summary, at least for 2nd Gen Low impedance set ups, if it has a wire with a red stripe (Lt Grn/Red ECU - secondary, Br/Red Hot Primary), it's for the rear rotor.

Hailers, when I get to Dallas we need to connect.
