Any tips on removing the UIM?
Ok I've done this so many times I can't even count them, but for some reason I'm having a really difficult time with this one... What do you guys do when the UIM wants to be a pesky biatch? It just seems like it's affixed to the manifold by a gasket created by the gods themselves...

And you removed all the nuts/bolts?
The 4 nuts on the outside, and the central bolt?
That's the usual cause. If they're all free, you should just be able to pry it up from the other end, and have it break free.

Yea I removed them all... It's just being a c***sucker and doesn't want to break loose... Maybe I should just pry it and if it breaks I'll get a new one...

I just removed mine yesterday...
You got the bolts off.. and all throttle cables and hoses are off?
Now look, there is one bolt on the back side. get on passengers side of car. The bolt head is facing the firewall. its at the back low portion right beside the farthest left manifold nuts... it holds 2 metal lines with the manifold. That held me up too...
