Any tips for rear transmission seal replacement?

Well I've been trying to get the old seal out for a while now and nothing seems to make it budge. I've tried everything I can think of to get it out. I even tried to burn it out, but it wouldn't catch fire or melt. I'm stuck.

Get a KD seal removal tool and you'll have it out in about 15 seconds. They work great! Just used mine last week to replace the rear seal on the transfer case of my wife's Jeep.

yah, all you really need is a good seal puller. just get in there with one of the hooks and pull it out.

I got it out. I think I may check out one of those seal pullers though.
