for s5 turbo
1) I used some spray paint with the door closed so I couild get a decent idea or where the valve seated. Maybe Dicum and a scribe would b better, but I didnt have that available (you also might want ot keep in mind the amount of freeplay the bushing has, some are tighter than others)
2)leave about 2mm for the valve to seat, everything else grind down.
Remember not to go too thin between the 2 holes. Also, its mainly the smaller wastegate hole that needs porting

The s4 and s5 t2 turbos are the same except the exhaust housing and manifold.

sorry to resurrect this thread, but i have a question about the S5 wastegate. How do you move the flapper enough to be able to port the hole underneath? I remember on my S4, the door swung wide open giving great access, but on this S5 turbo I have, it just opens a little.

Spray paint is a really good idea, never thought of that, Its pretty straight forward once you get it apart, I started with a drill bit then worked my way up to the next size. Make sure you get all the metal shavings out when your done.
