Any thoughts on the Atkins metal thermal pellet?

Been looking for options other than simply shimming the thermal pellet and stumbled across the Atkins solid pellet. I'm not sure if it will work the same as shimming, and that's why I'm making this post. Anyone have thoughts?

Works perfectly and allows oil to flow at all times.

I have one installed in my 89 N/A. My oil pressure gets higher with the higher RPMs. at 3000 rpms its normal. But at idle, it's really low.... Not sure if it's working right? But my RX-7 seems to run great.

^what weight oil are you running? if something thinner like 10w30 consider trying 20w50.

The thermal pellet simply allows oil to flow through the rotors on cold start as it does once the engine is warm.
