With the car cooled off,

Pop the hood.

remove the fuse block cover.

start the car.

get out

remove the EGI fuse

-Car Dies- (this depressurizes the fuel line.)

turn off car.

Jack up the car (USE JACK STANDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Slide under your car (driver side).

look next to the bell housing (driver side, look on the firewall.)

remove the lower fuel line. (Catch draining gas in cup)

Unscrew the clamp around the filter

Remove the upper fuel line (Catch draining gas in cup)

Install new filter.

Re-assemble.

Replace fuse.

Start car.

Look under car for Leaks.

stop car.

Look under car for Leaks.

Get drink.

Look under car for Leaks.

If all goes well, put the car down, and drive.

I never gave it any thought.

I use OEM filters, the flow of the fuel isnt that fast.
There are no "high flow" filters.

Think about the amount of fuel your spraying at max, its not fast flow.

the life of the filter is listed in the factory services that are listsed in the various owners manuals and repair guides, i dont have it right off..

Dont drop the filter on the fender. It leaves dents.
