Any roll-cage blue prints??
Im having a friend weld me a roll cage but i have no idea where to start. If any one has made there own cage or has one, can you post some photos with measurements? thanks

hey boostup personly here is what i would do since you live in cali i would call up mazda trix and ask them how they did it in their drift fc. i have talked to kyle mohan personaly he is a great guy. anywho he said call for questions.

You don't need blueprints for a cage, it has to be custom fitted to the chassis. Cages that are produced on mass are made this way then jigs are made to make the rest. Read through the cage thread, look through the SCCA Club racing rules about cages, it'll at least give you an idea of what to do.

On a street car a full cage isn't such a good idea though, the front tubes can be dangerous in an accident due to head impacts unless you and your passengers always wear a helmet. You'd be better off with a roll bar, and you can get those pre-made for probably less than paying for custom fab and mistakes. Kirk Racing and Autopower make some for the FC.

i dont have any measurements but i do have some pics of my custom setup. There are bolt on kits available but if you are on a more serious level of racing i woould custom fab one and weld in.

wow the cage in the fc is nice! I tried to reach mazda trix but all the lines were busy. Also i dont have to pay anything i go to skyline college and you have acces to welders, pipe benders and materials for free but a bolt in would be awsome. Im not trying to build a fully blown race car just a every day driver and something that will perform well on the track every weekend.
