Thumbs up Any recommendation on Carbon Fiber Hood

Just want to know where can I find a good quality one because I'm plan to replace my hood and it doesn't require hood pins. Don't recommend on ebay, thanks. anywhere?

Prefer turbo 2 hood.

I don't understand why you'd wanna spend that money on a stock replica unless you're running the top mount. Seems like a waste of good funds. I could be wrong though. Have you found any benefits other than aesthetics?

Look at the link I posted and look at the VIS hood. Similar but not the same The rear vents provime a lot of cooling and the VIS is missing that part. Pay a little more on shipping but get a quality TESTED HOOD.

From the link that phoenix7 posted, proof that marketers of aftermarket hoods don't know **** about aerodynamics...

^^ I know what you mean by the link you provided those hood have better cooling than VIS, I agree. One thing is I just one to replace mine and want a authentic one because I had a bad experience on ebay which the seller carry VIS. I have no idea those are real or not because it does have the badge saying VIS but the bottom part of the hood is so different than my friend is300 Vis cf hood and one of my friend integra vis cf hood. =( I might got rip because my hood didn't even last a year yet and it shows cracking.

Actually if you look at the scoop and the vents on my hood it helps dramatically with cooling. I now run a FMIC but the scoop allows cool air to blow across the UIM and TB and the vents in the rear corners let the hot air out. The vent on the passenger side is almost directly behind the turbo. With the engine warm and sitting at idle you can put your hand behind the vents and feel the mechanical fan blowing the hot air out. I have actually noticed a small drop in water temp.

Well I paid $615 shipped. From a dealer on eBay. He sourced his from Carbon Creations, a well known company.

I also wax mine pretty much every wash. You want to keep the hood moisturized, if it sits in the and dries out it will crack and fade.

Also a car cover helps out when you don't drive it.
