Any problems with Dashpot?

Had anybody had any problems after removing the Dashpot from the TB?
I'm doing the FC3SPRO.com TB MOD but I figure I should check before I start taking too much off.

Also what is are the following for?:

Air bypass solenoid valve
Air supply valve
Double throttle diaphragm

I wish there was a book I could look all of this stuff up in.

There is a book where you can look up all that stuff, the FSM.

The FSM doesn't tell you what they do exactally.

RoTa7 thats what I was wondering. I dont want to try to drive the car down the street and worry about the throttle cutting off every time I shift.

why would you remove your dashpot anyway, its not causing any sort of restriction and i hope its not for weight savings.

"why would you remove your dashpot anyway"

In the FC3SPRO.com "Throttle body mod" It says to remove the "useless dashpot"
I just cant see it being that important, but if it causes the throttle to choke back too fast and bog out then I think I'll leave it on.

The dashpot delays the throttles from closing too quickly. If you do remove it, under some circumstances, you can have stalling/hesitation problems when going from open throttle to closed. Of course, you can always just put it back on if this bothers you.

""What about the "Double throttle diaphram" "

I found out that these just hold the 2nd throttle plates on an N/A engine and I'll assume they are useless as well on a TII motor as well....I think its broken anyways.
